Trail-Way Speedway Holds 2018 Safety Seminar

In preparation for the 2018 racing season, Trail-Way Speedway held a safety seminar on speedway grounds, Sunday, March 18. The safety seminar, which was conducted by Trail-Way’s Director of Fire and EMS, Mitch Warner, included hands-on demonstrations including proper techniques for extracting drivers from race cars and learning about different race car components.

Because Trail-Way Speedway hosts various divisions during it’s 2018 racing season, several types of dirt track cars were present for the safety seminar. Andy Baird’s 358 Sprint Car, Mason Chaney’s Central PA Legend and Randy Kunkle’s 600 Micro Sprint were some of the cars used during demonstrations. Terry Hartlaub’s Limited Stock and Wayne Dutterer’s Street Stock were on display to assist with the stock car portion of the safety demonstrations.

To assist with response time in critical situations and for transportation assistance, Trail-Way Speedway works directly with SAVES (Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services), located on 5865 Hanover Road in Hanover, PA. Representatives from SAVES were on hand to participate in the safety seminar.

Trail-Way Speedway would like to thank all of the volunteers and race teams that came out to the speedway to take part in the safety seminar.
